(GNLC Merlin   X  Aloha Heartstrings)

We were fortunate to acquire Heartstrings from the Frog Pond dispersal sale.  She had been breed to GNLC Merlin while Sherri Tallmon owed her. GNLC Merlin passed away on March 31, 2017 at the young age of 11 years.

Strong, handsome and athletic, as an adult Merlin stood 49” at the withers. His offspring, who have carried his size, ideal conformation and sweet nature into some of the top herds and show rings in the U.S., have made their own mark on the next generations.

We just knew that Heartstrings cria would be named Merlin's Legacy in honor of this remarkable llama that was a true game changer in the llama industry.

When Legacy was born, she weighed 38 pounds and even her placenta weighed another 24 pounds.  We have no ideal how Heartstrings could carry that much weight.

A five months old, Legacy is the size of some of our adult females and you know she is far from being done growing.  Needless to say, we will have to start halter training soon while we can still reach her head. :-)

2018 is going to be an exciting show season with all the wonderful cria we have had since we moved here.  Life keeps getting better with each and every year.
